Achieving optimal galvanizing results of steel structures depends to a large extent on the way they are designed and made. Elements intended for galvanizing should have such a shape that will allow the bath to reach any galvanized surface and then to drain freely.

 While designing the construction the following aspects need to be considered:

• the size of the galvanizing kettle (working dimensions)all thermal consequences,
• individual features of the construction to be galvanized,
• predicted methods of fitting the galvanized structure,
• the surface condition of steel elements before galvanizing.
